Truckee River Friendly Landscaping + Restoration

A Bio Studio team member helped establish the Truckee River Friendly Landscaping Program to improve water quality, support riparian restoration, and strengthen watershed health by assisting residential property owners in voluntarily reducing soil erosion and runoff. Developed in collaboration with the California Water Resources Board, the program serves as a model for community-driven stewardship, river-friendly landscape practices, and watershed resilience.
